These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Studio Conrad Botes online store and the purchase of products from us. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Products

Studio Conrad Botes sells original artworks, art prints, books and related products.

We aim to represent all products as accurately as possible. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on photography, lighting and individual screen settings.

Original artworks and handmade or limited-edition products may contain minor variations that form part of the nature of the work.

3. Pricing

Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website or at checkout.

Shipping charges, duties, taxes and other applicable costs may be added separately and will be shown where available before an order is completed.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, product-description or availability errors. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact you before proceeding.

4. Orders and Payment

An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and the order has been confirmed by Studio Conrad Botes.

All orders are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, an obvious pricing error has occurred, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Studio Conrad Botes ships within South Africa and internationally.

Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 2–4 weeks unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page.

Delivery times after dispatch vary according to destination, courier service and customs processing.

6. International Orders

International customers may be responsible for import duties, customs charges, VAT or other local taxes imposed by the destination country unless these have already been collected at checkout.

These charges are outside the control of Studio Conrad Botes.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information when placing an order.

7. Returns, Refunds and Damaged Goods

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable consumer-protection law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights that a consumer may have under applicable law, including the South African Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory consumer-protection legislation.

8. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, photographs, designs, text and other creative material displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of their respective copyright owners.

Purchasing an original artwork, print, book or other product does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights to the purchaser.

No artwork or other content may be reproduced, copied, modified, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create derivative works without prior written permission from the relevant copyright owner.

9. Website Use

You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or misuse its content.

We may update, suspend or change parts of the website where reasonably necessary.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Conrad Botes will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be prohibited by law.

11. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.

Payment information may also be processed by Shopify and the relevant payment-service providers used to complete your transaction.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that may apply to customers in other jurisdictions.
